Z. Ch. "Organika-Sarzyna" in Nowa Sarzyna, set up in 1937, in effect of commercialisation were transformed by Minister of Treasury into a State-owned company and since 1 January 2001 started activity in a new legal form with an open future to further transformations. The step had been preceded with intensive years of restructuring, organisation and employment, now completed with success.

On 15th September 2005 Nafta Polska S.A. registered an increase in capital by 80% of shares of Z.CH. "Organika-Sarzyna" S.A. As from that date, the Company is no longer a State-owned company. On 15th December 2005 a procedure of providing eligible employees with 15% of shares in the Company was started. In the meantime, Nafta Polska S.A. — in accordance with the approved timetable — has been privatising companies in the group of Great Chemical Synthesis, which also includes "Organika-Sarzyna". On 20th December 2006 the agreement on sale of 80% of shares in Z. Ch. "Organika-Sarzyna" S.A. by Nafta Polska S.A. to investor Ciech S.A. (located in Warsaw) came into force. At present "Organika-Sarzyna" is a part of Capital Group Ciech S.A.

The ruling bodies of the Company is General Meeting of Shareholders, Supervisory Board and Management Board. The Company is managed collectively by the Management Board.

The activities of Z. Ch. "Organika-Sarzyna" focus on the following:

On-going adaptation to the changing conditions of market economy in the sense of law, finances, production profile and assortment, development of an efficient distribution network, maintenance of development potential, human resources management, etc., manufacturing of high quality products, competitive domestically and internationally, growth of market shares, complex environment protection and pro-environment activities, identification of opportunities and threats, including those related to EU accession, etc. In result, the Company has been regularly growing for many years with respect to sales volume, profit as well as profitability, liquidity, capital turnover. This provides for a sense of stability for the staff and good co-operation with bodies of the Company. The process of implementation of ISO-compliant management systems was of special importance. The first ISO certificate was obtained in 1997. In December 2003, the Polish centre of Research and Certification certified that Z. Ch. "Organika-Sarzyna" S.A. met the requirements of PN-EN ISO 9001, PN-N-18001, PN-EN ISO 14001 standards as well as the Criteria of Internal Control System. We are proud with the Integrated Management System Certificate * Quality * Industrial Safety * Environment *, which is beneficial to the Company and helps in our relations with contracting parties.

Within the framework of restructuring, over the last several years a number of commercial companies were registered with interests of Z.CH. "Organika-Sarzyna". The idea was to split the tasks and functions that are not related directly to chemical production; also some were set up jointly with foreign investors, local self-government, R&D institutes as well as capital relations. In each instance the decisions were guided by the criteria of joint interests and development potential of a given company in the economic environment. Most often the shares acquired by Z.CH. "Organika-Sarzyna" range from 16% and 49%. The group of the related companies includes the following:

The present production of the Company includes: pesticides and active substances for production of pesticides, epoxy resins Epidian®, resin hardeners, unsaturated polyester resins Polimal®, Saturated Polyester Resins, phenol-formaldehyde resins,  hardeners for moulding sand Flodur® and other. The full production assortment covers several hundred types, in various chemical forms, usable forms, packaging, as suited to the target market and application. The production activity is supplemented with services in the area of formulation, packaging or distribution that are performed on the basis of the Company's production base, staff, distribution network, etc.

Z. Ch. "Organika-Sarzyna" S.A., young as a joint stock company and mature as a chemical producer, is enthusiastic about its current and future goals.
