Zakłady Chemiczne „Organika-Sarzyna”,  an enterprise established in 1937,  as from 1st   January  2001 commenced its activity by virtue of a commercialization deed as a joint stock company owned by the State Treasury. The new legal status of the company opened possibilities of further transformations. This moment was preceded by several years of a very intensive restructuring programme in the scope of  property, employment and organizational aspects, and  has been successfully implemented.

On the 15th September 2005 Nafta Polska S.A. registered an increase in its share capital by 80% of shares of Z.Ch. "Organika-Sarzyna" S.A.  As from that date, "Organika-Sarzyna" ceased to be a sole shareholder company of the State Treasury and next steps resulting from the commercialization process were taken.

On the 20th December 2006 an agreement on sale of 80% of shares in Z. Ch. "Organika-Sarzyna" S.A. by Nafta Polska S.A. to the investor Ciech S.A. seated in Warsaw came into force and "Organika-Sarzyna" was included into the Ciech Chemical Group.  In June 2013, as a result of share purchasing process (from the employees in 2008-2013  and acquisition of shares from the State Treasury on the 22nd  August 2011), Ciech S.A. took up 99.64% of shares in the share capital of “Organika-Sarzyna”.


The Company’s governing bodies are: General Meeting of  Shareholders, Supervisory Board and the Management Board.  

Activities of  “Organika-Sarzyna” have been oriented towards realization of the following goals:
-    permanent adaptation to variable economic environment related to legal and  financial  issues, product portfolio, creating the efficient distribution network, maintaining development capability, management of human resources, etc.

As a result of such activities "Organika-Sarzyna" has been maintaining  continual growth trends  with regard to product volume, profit and such economic ratios like profitability, cash flow and capital turnover. Implementation of  management systems according to ISO standards was  of special importance. The first ISO certificate was achieved in 1997, and in December  2003 the Polish Centre for Testing and Certification has assessed Zakłady Chemiczne "Organika-Sarzyna" S.A. as the entity fulfilling the requirements of  PN-EN ISO 9001, PN-N- ISO 18001, PN-EN ISO 14001 standards, including criteria of the Internal Control System WSK. The Certificate of  Integrated Management System * Quality * Occupational Health and Safety * Environment * is a source of enormous satisfaction for “Organika-Sarzyna”, which is directly translated into better effects both in the company itself and in relations with all customers and partners.

The present  portfolio of  the company consists of plant protection products and a range of active substances for their manufacturing, EPIDIAN â epoxy resins, hardeners for resins, POLIMALâ unsaturated polyester resins, saturated polyester resins, phenol-formaldehyde resins, FLODUR hardeners for moulding compounds and other.  The complete product line comprises over several hundred grades and versions in different  chemical and application forms and packages- to ensure a good selection for target markets and applications. The basic production activity is being supplemented by toll manufacturing, packaging and/or distribution of chemicals, with which “Organika-Sarzyna” can  provide  to its business partners, using its own production base, human resources, distribution network, etc.
“Organika-Sarzyna” involves willingly into challenging projects. Presently, it is a beneficiary of the EU co-financed project “Construction of an Innovative Production Installation of MCPA and MCPP-P Substances”, realized under  Measure 4.4 New Investments of High Innovative Potential of the Innovative Economy Operational Programme 2007-2013.
