Production of unsaturated polyester resins at Z. Ch. "Organika-Sarzyna" was started over 45 years ago as a basic group in the company's production program and has maintained its position due to on-going development. Over the years, the production capacity was expanded by new installations and modernisation of existing ones. "Organika-Sarzyna" undertakes efforts to maintain its position of Poland's largest producer of polyester resins.
Co-operation with DSM Resins BV resulted in 1997 in the establishment of a trading and marketing company DSM-Sarzyna Żywice Konstrukcyjne Sp. z o.o.. The goal was to expand the products and additions on offer and provide for more attractive assortment for buyers. Starting from 1 December 2005, "Organika-Sarzyna" has been performing the marketing, distribution and sale of unsaturated polyester resins through its own internal unit, providing complex market services and technological support.
The variety of applications is so demanding that it could not be met by one universal type of resin. The Development Department of the Polyester Resin Plant develops and implements new types of resins, adjusting their parameters to specific buyers' needs. Production and internal quality control take care that the parameters remain unchanged and comply with the Company Standards which is of benefit to buyers of our resins and gel coats. Strict co-operation between our trading, marketing and production staff provide for new types of resins as well as for training and technological and application services concerning resins and gel coats.
Recently a number of resin and gel coat types were developed and implemented that with respect to chemical composition can be split into: orthophtals, isophtals, izo/npg, bisphenol, terepktals, vinyl-ester and others.
